Store Manager - Job Profile

In the position of Store Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of a Money Shop store, managing and coaching staff and providing customers with a range of Money Shop products. To do this role successfully you will need to provide excellent customer service and demonstrate successful sales techniques to promote and cross sell our products.

You will have excellent management qualities, including problem solving skills, the ability to manage your time productively, have accuracy and pay attention to detail. You will need to ensure your store is maintained to the highest standards and you will need to take responsibility for ensuring all monies in store are accounted for and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved. You will be responsible for motivating your team to meet and exceed store commission targets and to minimize bad debt in line with Company policy.

You will have strong communication skills as the role will involve liaising with your Area Manager regarding branch operations, business opportunities and staffing requirements, as well as regular contact with other managers and staff in your area. Our managers lead from the front so customer contact is an essential part of the role.

Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable and having gained this in a retail and/or financial sector would be an advantage.
